Megkapta az építési engedélyt a józsefvárosi Science Park!

The Semmelweis University Health and Biotechnology Science Park has received its building permit!
After much effort and persistent work, the Semmelweis University Health and Biotechnology Science Park has received its building permit. The general design work was carried out by the consortium of CÉH zRt. and Fejér Kft. The design posed special challenges, as it required coordinating and planning for the needs and expectations of 27 institutes of Semmelweis University on an already built-up area. The preparation of the building permit plans involved the assistance of more than 100 experts from over 20 specialized fields.
The Science Park will be an important research base for the domestic health and biotechnology sectors, and it will also provide significant opportunities for research and postgraduate education at Semmelweis University. The development and additional green spaces were well received by the residents of the surrounding area, as evidenced by the results of extensive public consultations.
The project will include the construction of 4 buildings with laboratories, offices, student and educational spaces, a library, research workshops, and other functional areas. An open green space, functioning as a community area, will be created between the buildings on two levels, which will also be open to the public. Parking needs and logistical services will be met by a three-level underground garage. The surrounding streets will also be renovated as part of the project.
Dániel Rádai, Deputy Mayor for Urban Development of Józsefváros, commented on our company in the Architect Forum:
"In recent years, the municipality has gained considerable experience in establishing relationships between developers and residents. Representatives of investors participated in local community forums. In 2024, the municipality, in exemplary cooperation with the university and the designer CÉH zRt., managed the social consultation of the Science Park project in the Orczy district, which is similar in size to the Semmelweis University Pázmány Campus. The project did not suffer any damage; the consultation was organically integrated into the planning process. As a result, the buildings will be constructed with the involvement of residents, taking their comments and concerns into account, and ultimately with the agreement of the residents and stakeholders, making everyone a winner."
