The renovation of the historic Széchenyi Chain Bridge begins today. The bridge will be closed to pedestrians for the next two and half years. In terms of car traffic, the bridge is expected to be closed in mid-June.

During the preparation for the reconstruction FŐMTERV Civil Engineering Design Pte. Ltd. and MSc Engineering Design and Consulting Ltd. are the consortium partners of CÉH Inc. Our task was to prepare design documentation (renovation study as well as permit and implementation designs) for the refurbishment of Széchenyi Chain Bridge substructures (bridgeheads, pilons and bastions) and the management of tasks related to the bridge as an architectural monument. We will also provide design tasks during the construction in this consortium partnership.

We are proud to take part in the renovation of such an important monumental building of the Hungarian Capital.
