Our support made the paediatric MRI procurement possible
Submarine-themed paediatric MRI inaugurated at Semmelweis University — CÉH zRt. contributed HUF 10 million
On 23 February 2026, a state-of-the-art, submarine-themed paediatric MRI was officially inaugurated at Semmelweis University’s Paediatric Clinic. The child-friendly waiting and examination areas were designed to provide a more supportive, reassuring experience for the youngest patients. We supported the implementation of this development with a HUF 10 million contribution.
At Semmelweis University, a development has been realised that combines cutting-edge technology with a child-centred approach. The new MRI system, integrated into a child-friendly environment, not only expands diagnostic capabilities but also strengthens the human side of care: it helps reduce fear of examinations and creates a calmer, safer atmosphere for children and their families.
At the inauguration, Dr. Béla Merkely, Rector of Semmelweis University, emphasised that the paediatric MRI is not merely a technological upgrade, but evidence of the power of collaboration, commitment and human solidarity — ultimately, in support of our greatest treasure: children.
It is an honour for us that we were able to contribute to this development.
