Gellért-hegy Public Park Feasibility Study
Our design task related to the renewal of the Gellért Hill public park was to provide a comprehensive assessment and documentation of the existing condition of the area across urban planning, heritage protection, architectural, transport, utility and green infrastructure disciplines, complemented by a full tree survey and ecological assessment.
The study also covered the identification of the relevant legal and regulatory framework. Based on the surveys and analyses, we developed several alternative proposals to address the identified issues, involving the relevant disciplines.
The feasibility study was prepared as the basis for the planned landscape design competition. Due to organisational changes on the client’s side, the competition was ultimately not launched.
