Energy Efficiency Modernisation of Nagykovácsi Primary School

The energy efficiency modernisation of Nagykovácsi Primary School aimed to reduce heat loss and operating costs while creating a more comfortable indoor environment for students and teachers. The project included upgrading the building's facade insulation, replacing windows and doors, and improving the thermal insulation and waterproofing of the gymnasium and certain flat-roofed sections.

Our responsibility was to provide project management services for the development. One of the main organisational challenges was renovating buildings constructed in different periods, with varying structural characteristics, while the school remained operational. Construction activities were therefore scheduled during the summer holidays to minimise disruption to the school's daily operations.

The improvements enhanced the thermal performance of the building complex, reduced energy losses and gave the school a renewed exterior appearance. The project contributed to more cost-efficient operation and a more modern learning environment.
