University of Debrecen Medical and Health Science Centre

The development of the educational building and dental institute of the University of Debrecen Medical and Health Science Centre was connected to the expansion of university-level healthcare education. The aim of the investment was to provide a more modern infrastructural background for dental education, teaching and the related patient care functions.

The new four-storey building also played an important role in strengthening the independent Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Debrecen. Its educational and clinical spaces supported student training, practical teaching and the everyday operation connected to healthcare services.

We participated in the project with project management services. Our work focused on organising implementation, monitoring processes, coordinating the work of the participants and providing professional control over the investment.

The particularity of the task came from the need to support the implementation of a building serving both university and healthcare functions. In such an environment, the coordination of educational spaces, patient care connections, circulation routes and operational considerations is especially important.

The development contributed to enabling dental education in Debrecen to continue in a more modern, better-functioning educational and healthcare environment.
