Paks Specialist Outpatient Clinic
The Paks Specialist Outpatient Clinic was developed to modernise outpatient specialist healthcare services for the town and its surrounding area and to bring various medical functions together in a central location. The facility on Táncsics Mihály Street accommodates specialist consultation, diagnostic and outpatient treatment areas, including X-ray examination rooms, endoscopy rooms and outpatient operating theatres.
Our responsibility was to provide project management services for the construction of the outpatient clinic. The technical complexity of the project arose from the different spatial requirements and specialised needs of the various healthcare functions. Through our project management activities, we supported the organisation of the development and coordination among the parties involved.
The facility was subsequently expanded with a therapeutic spa and a movement therapy unit. This development utilised the medicinal water supplied by well B-129 and included pools for aquatic exercise, underwater traction therapy pools, exercise rooms, treatment areas and supporting facilities.
These successive developments contributed to the modernisation of Paks's healthcare infrastructure, the centralisation of specialist medical services and improved facilities for musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
