Kadarka Street Kindergarten
The Kadarka Street Kindergarten stands out for its architectural character: while fully preserving functionality, it creates a distinctive and welcoming environment. The conscious interplay of materials and colors gives the building a unique appearance within its family-house setting.
The project aimed to deliver a new 100-place kindergarten, providing real additional capacity for the area. Within the framework of project VEKOP 6.1.1-15-BP1-2016-00027, we carried out project management and technical supervision services related to the construction of the Kadarka Street Kindergarten, in cooperation with architectural, electrical and mechanical disciplines.
One of the project’s most important features was the demanding quality of the façade and exterior architectural design. The junctions of the brick cladding, sheet metal, colored render, as well as the timber supports and window frames required particular care both in design and execution. Precise technical coordination therefore played a key role in ensuring that the building’s distinctive appearance was delivered to a high standard.
To support construction, we used the PlanGrid construction support application. The project also applies forward-looking sustainability solutions: it operates with a solar panel system and also includes rainwater collection for garden irrigation.
As a result of the development, 100 new kindergarten places were created.
