Hotel BonVino

Hotel Bonvino Wine & Spa, located in the centre of Badacsony, was designed around the character of the Balaton landscape, local architectural traditions and the region’s winemaking heritage. The three-storey hotel consists of two building wings and offers 48 rooms, along with wellness, dining and communal spaces.

Our responsibility was the architectural design of the hotel. We shaped the building mass and proportions to fit naturally into the surrounding development and the distinctive character of Badacsony. The pitched-roof form and locally characteristic materials were reinterpreted in a contemporary architectural language, while the two-wing layout also responds to the specific conditions of the site.

When developing the functional layout, we considered not only the day-to-day operation of the hotel but also the possibility of a future connection to the neighbouring Neptun Hotel. The central-corridor layout provides a clear and efficient room structure, with the communal and wellness functions connected as distinct units.

The interior design concept draws on the wine and grape-growing culture of Badacsony and carries this theme into the hotel’s interior spaces. In this way, both the exterior and interior design reflect the character of the region while providing the conditions for a contemporary hotel operating throughout the year.
