Magyar Posta Logistics Centre in Fót
Magyar Posta Zrt. developed its logistics centre in Fót as one of the key investments of the MPL+ programme, which was launched to renew the company’s nationwide parcel logistics network. The greenfield facility was completed within nine months and, when opened, was the largest parcel logistics depot in Hungary by floor area.
The 15,000-square-metre building includes 32 docking gates and 50 positions for delivery vans. A further 18,000 square metres of paved external space was created around the building to support vehicle movements, loading operations and the daily logistics processes of the site.
The facility also marked an important milestone as the first depot directly owned by Magyar Posta Zrt. Its size and configuration enabled the company to handle larger parcel volumes in a modern operational environment closely integrated into the national distribution network.
The Project Management Office of CÉH zRt. provided technical consultancy during construction. Our work supported the implementation of the investment and the professional management of technical matters throughout the construction process.
