SPAR Üllő Logistics Centre

SPAR’s logistics centre in Üllő is one of the key hubs of the company’s supply network in Hungary. The aim of the development was to support the already operating logistics centre with a new transport office building and the related truck parking area.

The new office building supports the day-to-day work of drivers and logistics processes. The building includes changing rooms and rest areas, while the investment also included the construction of car and truck parking facilities. The development can therefore be seen not as a standalone office project, but as a practical infrastructure element that complements the operation of the logistics centre.

CÉH zRt. provided technical supervision services for the project. Our role covered the professional control of construction processes, the review of technical content, support for quality assurance and ensuring the traceability of implementation.

The specific character of the project came from the fact that the development was connected to an actively operating logistics environment. In such a situation, it is especially important that construction is carried out safely, with consideration for the existing site operations and operational requirements.

The investment contributes to the more efficient operation of the logistics centre and improves the everyday working conditions of the employees and drivers involved in transport activities. This is where the value of the development lies: through a targeted, functional expansion, it supports the logistics background of a nationwide retail network.
