MOL Kövegy Filling Station

The MOL Kövegy filling station was developed at the Szent Gellért rest area on the M43 motorway, in the Magyarcsanád area. The aim of the investment was to create a modern motorway service facility that provides not only fuel supply, but also catering, rest and transport-supporting functions for travellers.

The filling station operates as a complex unit consisting of a shop, café, restaurant function, bus parking areas and passenger car parking spaces. Its role goes beyond traditional refuelling: it also provides a rest point, refreshment opportunity and additional services for those travelling on the motorway. The development also includes an electric vehicle charging function, responding to longer-term mobility needs.

We provided project management, technical supervision and occupational safety inspection services for the investment. Our work focused on monitoring the construction processes, reviewing the technical content, supporting quality assurance and controlling safe working conditions.

In the case of a motorway filling station, the construction task requires the coordination of several different operational areas. Traffic connections, filling station technology, catering and retail spaces, parking areas and passenger functions all need to operate clearly and safely at the same time.

The Kövegy filling station is an important service element of the motorway transport infrastructure in the region. For those travelling along the M43, it provides not only fuel supply, but also a rest and catering environment that makes journeys more comfortable on this international transport route.
