Tesco Stores (17 Locations)

We participated in the development of 17 stores of different sizes as part of Tesco's expansion of its retail network in Hungary. The projects ranged from 1,500 m² stores to facilities covering 19,679 m², requiring solutions tailored to a wide variety of commercial and operational needs.

Our responsibilities included comprehensive building design and project management services for the developments. Our design team coordinated the architectural and related engineering disciplines, while our project management team was involved in organising and coordinating the implementation of the projects.

The complexity of the developments arose from the different building sizes and site-specific conditions. In designing the stores, we had to coordinate the technical and functional requirements of the retail areas, storage and service facilities, and goods handling operations. Working across multiple locations required a consistent approach to both design and project management.

The developments contributed to the expansion of Tesco's retail network in Hungary, providing new retail facilities for customers in different regions. The 17-store assignment gave us extensive experience in the comprehensive design of commercial buildings and the management of construction projects across multiple locations.
