City SPAR at BudaPart GATE

The City SPAR located on the ground floor of the BudaPart GATE office building opened as the first daily-grocery store in the new urban district. The 530-square-metre supermarket serves office users, local residents and visitors to BudaPart.

Despite its compact floor area, the store offers a broad range of products. Fresh fruit and vegetables, bakery products, delicatessen goods and ready-to-eat SPAR enjoy items are arranged to support convenient everyday shopping and clear orientation.

Creating a bright and easily navigable customer environment was a central aspect of the interior design. Contemporary retail fittings and logically organised product categories help make efficient use of the available space.

The store’s technical systems had to be integrated into the ground floor of an operational office building. Retail technology, refrigeration, ventilation, electrical supply, fire safety and goods-delivery requirements were coordinated with the building’s existing systems and circulation routes.

Energy-efficient operation is supported by low-consumption LED lighting and heat-pump-based building services. These systems help reduce energy use while maintaining a comfortable internal environment for customers and employees.
