Kossuth Publishing House – Libro Courtyard Building

A building complex combining office and logistics functions was developed at the Budapest site of Kossuth Kiadó and LibroTrade. The distinctive appearance of the four-storey office building was inspired by books lined up on a shelf, creating a direct architectural connection to the activities of the companies operating here.

Our task was the architectural and structural design of the development. In addition to the office spaces, the design had to integrate the high-bay warehouse and order-picking areas required for the site’s logistics operations into a coherent building complex. Coordinating these different functions required efficient logistical connections as well as an office environment with a representative architectural character.

The complex provided space for LibroTrade’s central warehouse and for the office and distribution functions of Kossuth Kiadó.
