BMW Plant Debrecen
The BMW Group’s Debrecen plant is the company’s first greenfield investment in Europe, launched in spring 2020 by the Munich-based premium automobile and motorcycle manufacturer. Located on a development area of more than 400 hectares, the facility covers 600,000 m² and integrates the latest technologies in digitalization, sustainability, and flexible production. The facility operates CO₂-free on site, supplied in part by a 53-MW solar power plant.
CÉH provided comprehensive project management services throughout the design and construction phases, from project preparation to technical handover. The plant features a world-class manufacturing environment capable of producing internal combustion, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric BMW models on a single production line.
The world-class EV plant also manufactures BMW’s new flagship, the Neue Klasse.
