ZF Debrecen

ZF’s Debrecen plant is a targeted industrial development connected to the city’s growing role in the automotive sector. In the new production unit of the German automotive supplier, series production of chassis systems has started, primarily to serve the BMW plant in Debrecen. The development created new production capacity and further strengthens Debrecen’s position on the European automotive map.

As part of the investment, a modern production hall designed specifically for this purpose was completed. The building had to meet the requirements of production technology, future operation, quality assurance and energy-efficient performance at the same time.

CÉH zRt. worked on the project on behalf of OTP Ingatlanbefektetési Alap. Our task was to support the implementation of the investment through project control, including the monitoring of construction processes, the review of technical content and the assurance of high technical quality.

The design of the hall also took into account the requirements of BREEAM Excellent certification. This approach supports energy-efficient operation, the long-term usability of the building and the early consideration of operational aspects.

The investment, worth approximately HUF 10 billion, creates more than 200 new jobs in Debrecen. The development contributes to strengthening the industrial role of the region and expands the supplier environment that forms an important basis for the city’s automotive development.
