Knorr Bremse plant

The Knorr-Bremse investment in Kecskemét created a new production and development base for the manufacture and development of braking systems for commercial vehicles. As part of the greenfield development, the company’s existing Kecskemét production activities were relocated to a new site, where manufacturing was complemented by development and testing functions.

Our task was to provide project management and technical supervision services. The tight construction schedule and deadlines linked to EU funding required continuous coordination and consistent technical control. The pace of the project is well illustrated by the fact that the production and testing buildings were completed in just nine months. Throughout the project, we monitored construction progress, quality and compliance with the agreed deadlines.

The new complex brought together production, administrative and R&D functions. The investment provided a more modern environment for manufacturing in Kecskemét while also supporting the further expansion of Knorr-Bremse’s local development capacities.
