Porsche Parts Center, Phases I–II
The Porsche Parts Center is a spare parts logistics centre located in Budaörs, serving the dealership and service network of the automotive brands represented by Porsche Hungaria. The first phase included a single-storey warehouse and a three-storey office building of approximately 1,600 m². During the second phase, the warehouse area was more than doubled.
Our responsibility was to provide comprehensive building design services for the logistics centre and its associated office building. During the design process, we had to coordinate the different requirements of warehousing and office functions, while also considering the site's road and rail transport connections.
One of the warehouse's distinctive technical features is its sawtooth roof structure, constructed from precast reinforced concrete elements. This design differs from the low-pitched roofs typically used for industrial buildings. The logistics centre also benefits from a dedicated railway siding and facilities for loading and unloading rail freight within the building.
The completion of the second phase significantly increased the warehouse capacity, contributing to faster and more flexible spare parts distribution. In addition to serving dealerships and authorised service centres in Hungary, the facility plays an important role in supplying spare parts across Central and Southeastern Europe.
