BIF Office Building Városmajor Street
Major Udvar – BIF Városmajor Street Office Building was created through the comprehensive renewal and extension of an existing office building at 12–14 Városmajor Street. The aim of the development was to retain and modernise the former building, while adding a new wing to create a Class A office building that meets today’s requirements.
The value of the project lies in the fact that it created a modern working environment not through demolition, but by rethinking the existing building. During the development, the office areas, common spaces and technical systems of the building were renewed, while the inner courtyard was transformed into a greener, landscaped environment that supports the everyday use of the office building.
We participated in the investment with project management and technical supervision services. Our role covered the monitoring of construction processes, the review of technical content, support for quality assurance and the professional control of implementation.
The professional complexity of the task came from the need to coordinate the reconstruction of an existing building, the construction of a new wing, the underground garage and the technical solutions required for modern office operation. In a development of this kind, it is especially important that the old and new parts of the building function as a unified and well-usable system.
Major Udvar created a renewed office environment near Városmajor and Déli Railway Station, building both on the existing urban context and on contemporary workplace expectations. The project contributes to the renewal of the office offering in the area, while representing a more sustainable development approach through retention and transformation.
