BudaWest Office Building

The BudaWest Office Building was developed in Budapest’s District XI, on the site bordered by Rétköz Street and Szurdok Street. The 16,000-square-metre premium office building offers flexible tenant areas, large open office spaces on each floor and a three-level underground garage.

The building’s technical design responds to the needs of modern office use. Flexible spatial organisation, naturally lit workplaces, openable windows, raised floors, adjustable air-handling systems and a telecommunications background provided by multiple service providers all support tenant usability.

BudaWest’s environmentally conscious operation is supported by several solutions: energy-efficient building services equipment, selective waste collection, water-efficient sanitary fittings, measurable tenant energy consumption, bicycle storage, changing rooms and showers for cyclists, as well as a green terrace connected to the building. The office building obtained a BREEAM In-Use Excellent certification, won the Greenest Office Building of the Year award in 2012, and received the Construction Industry Excellence Award in 2013.
