Raiffeisen Bank Burgenland
Our concept was developed for an invited architectural design competition for the new provincial headquarters of Raiffeisen Bank Burgenland in Eisenstadt.
One of the key requirements of the competition was the application of sustainable design solutions. The concept targeted 900 points and a GOLD level within the Austrian klimaaktiv certification system, and we also prepared the building’s energy performance certificate.
During the design process, particular emphasis was placed on:
- rainwater harvesting,
- passive external shading solutions,
- and the use of a timber roof structure.
In the course of the collaboration, in addition to our Austrian partner office, we also involved Austrian experts specialized in sustainability and rainwater management in the design competition process.
