KÜRT Office Building

The KÜRT office building was developed in Budaörs as a newly built office building designed for the company’s own operations. The aim of the 3,800-square-metre building was to provide a well-organised, long-term working environment for the rapidly developing IT and data security company.

The building’s floor plan is based on a central corridor layout, with offices facing either north or south and connected to the circulation core. The two staircases provide clear internal circulation, while the site placement and building height restrictions resulted in a stepped massing.

We participated in the project with building design and project management services. Our work covered the development of the architectural and technical solutions, the organisation of implementation, and the coordination of user and operational requirements related to office use.

The particularity of the task came from the need for the building to respond at the same time to the characteristics of the Budaörs site, the terrain conditions and the client’s organisational operation. In an office building designed for own use, spatial organisation, internal circulation, natural lighting and long-term usability must be treated as one coherent system from the design stage.

The KÜRT office building was created as a corporate headquarters that not only provides a workplace, but also offers the built environment needed to support the company’s operation, development and internal collaboration.
