Bridge Between AUDI HUNGARIA Zrt.’s G1–G25 Plant Areas
The bridge planned between the G1 and G25 plant areas at Audi Hungaria’s Győr site was an engineering task connected to the company’s internal industrial transport links. The aim of the development was to examine the connection between the two plant areas and to prepare a technical solution that fits the fixed transport and operational environment of the site.
We participated in the project by preparing a feasibility study design. The task of our bridge design office was to develop a possible bridge engineering solution, examine the structural system and prepare a layout adapted to the alignment constraints. In parallel with the feasibility study, a visualisation was also prepared to support the spatial and formal interpretation of the planned connection.
The professional character of the project came from the fact that the bridge had to adapt to the existing internal traffic system of the plant, restricted site conditions and a fixed alignment. For the approach bridges, we designed a prefabricated girder structure, while for the curved section with a radius of R = 45 metres, we designed a steel-concrete composite superstructure.
The value of the bridge design task lies not in its scale, but in the technical solution adapted to the specific site. On an operating industrial site, the reliability, clarity and safe design of internal transport connections directly support the efficient operation of production processes.
