Győr - underpass
We prepared subway plans for public road connection between the city centre and the Nádor Quarter in Győr.
The cross-section of the tunnel comprises a 2x2 lane road with bike lanes and sidewalks.
Designing and construction was complicated due to not only the high level of ground-water but also the overhead-contact wire system of the railway and the dispatcher office. Therefore, over 110 meter cables had to be replaced and secured in the construction site. Furthermore, uninterrupted operation of two railway tracks had to be ensured due to the international principal route.
The Nádor subway received a Construction Industry Award.
